BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION
Behavior modification programs teach the same obedience skills as the premier program while taking additional time and focus on reducing reactivity or other behavioral issues. Dog’s that demonstrate aggressive traits towards people or can’t be walked without barking at other dogs or people benefit the most from this program. Whether your dog is using aggression to mask insecurity or is expressing dominance this program takes a unique approach to every dog.
In order to be accepted into this program, your dog must be accepted following an evaluation. The goal of this program is to help manage difficult dogs and allow owners and dogs to spend more time together comfortably and safely.

MANAGING DIFFICULT DOGS
Designed to help dogs with:
- Severe Reactivity
- Bite History
- Resource Guarding
- Fear Aggression
- Handler Reactivity
Dogs must be approved by an evaluation to ensure that training will help manage the dogs impulses and drives. Training DOES NOT eliminate serious impulses and drives but it does help manage and reduce your dog’s behavior issues. This program is not a magic pill but it does help you have more tools to control your dog while calming your dog’s mindset. Maintaining the training after your dog’s go home will allow you to spend more meaningful and productive time together and continue to advance over time.
COST: $5500 (Paid half at the start and half at or before the puppies go home)
6 weeks
Program comes with 4 lessons, one go home and three that can be used within six months at the owners discretion. The Premier Program also includes a collar and a balanced collar to help maintain training. After the program is compete, graduates will have access to Rioghal Canine boarding services.
